Is there anything distinct about the theater design? There are two spaces we are very excited about. The first is our largest auditorium; this room has a design that is very different from any other auditorium in the market. It has a round/oval shape with aisles curving around the seats.
The second space is the "Master Control Room" -- located in the front lobby adjacent to the box office. It is truly the heartbeat of the complex and all operations will be initiated from this location. Return to Top

The unique location, essentially on a college campus and corporate village, allows us to leverage this to provide a facility that will meet numerous needs -- from meeting and demonstration space to providing large venues for private events and showings, including major sporting events. Why did you choose Aksarben Village for this project? We were fortunate enough to have been referred to the Zone 5 (Entertainment Zone) developer, John Hughes of Magnum Development. Through a series of early meetings, we were able to see the tremendous opportunity this location presented. It was only through a considerable amount of collaboration and creative partnerships with a number of parties -- including Kubler Financial, McNeil Builders, and a host of other participants -- that allowed Aksarben Cinema to come to fruition. What is unique about Aksarben Village as a theater destination? First and foremost is the population density and the diverse demographics we serve. The neighborhoods are teeming with well-established families and an influx of affluent young professionals -- and then you get to add in the UNO student population. We believe it will be one of the best locations in the city...bar none. Return to Top
